If the person you voted for turned out to be of the opposite gender than you thought when you cast the ballot, would it matter? Georgia says no. I can't come up with a situation when it would. Or should.

As it should be. This is one of my soapbox issues. I think that most people are unaware of how gray the issue of gender really is. For most it is a completely black or white (male or female) concept, but that is far from reality.
