Only Questions: Rebate Edition

So why might we get $1200 from the government?

Haven't you heard the economy sucks?

Is that supposed to fix it?

Haven't you heard of trickle-down economics?

So we're supposed to go shopping with this money?

Don't you like to go shopping?

Don't you know how much I want a fancy schmancy DSLR?

Don't you want a shiny new television?

Haven't you heard those are cheaper after the Superbowl?

So will you go shopping with your rebate?

Do you think that's a good idea?

Isn't that what you're supposed to do with it?

Have you seen my visa bill?

Aren't you saving to buy a house?

Doesn't sound like I'll be shopping does it?

So is this really going to help anything?

Who am I to deny $1200?

embrace the handout or the economy will die and it will be all your fault.

and buy some duct tape (maybe $1200 worth of duct tape)

Oh, I embrace it. I just don't think I'll be doing with it what the government wants me to do with it, which is, spend it. Not when I have such a tidy load of debt. That needs paying down first.

Guess I picked the wrong day to start being more responsible.
