What Do You Even Say To This?

From the Chron:

In the letter, [Virginia Congressman Virgil] Goode wrote, "The Muslim representative from Minnesota was elected by the voters of that district and if American citizens don't wake up and adopt the Virgil Goode position on immigration there will likely be many more Muslims elected to office and demanding the use of the Koran."

Yes now is the time to act. Before long, people will be allowed to beleive in any faith and the way you worship your God will be only one of many.
It must be a scary world for Mr Goode to be so afraid of people just because they choose to worship the same God he does just in a diffirent way.
Surley a stronger and more accepted Muslim population in America will only make it more diffiucult for the people who what to attack you to use the Muslim faith as an excuse.
Why should the Koran not be just as sutiable as the Bible for swearing in after all it is a holy scripture that is used as a symbol of your promise before God and if that is what he beleives then swearing on the bible would in fact mean less to him. Does raise a bit of a question about atheists!

I say its time for Mr. Goode to hop aboard some neo-pilgrim ship and establish a colony in the Antarctic so he and other like-mindeds can be free from religious persecution. God willing, of course.

There, he and his community can wallow (fester) in an orgiastic expression of racism and religious freedom. Yipee! Fleeing persecution can be fun!

Virgil Goody. Heh.
