I'll admit that I have not read the text of the recently qualified proposed initiative that would require unions to get their members' permission prior to using dues for political purposes.
What I can't figure out, though, is why non-union members would get to vote on this decision. The concern is union bosses not seeking input - so why is it okay when non-union bosses slap this puppy on the ballot?
(Oh wait, yeah, I know why . . . .)
