Frustration-Attraction

From the Science Files, this NYT piece on the neuroscience of new love and the physiological reasons why we stay crazy - if not get crazier - when we get dumped. The biology here probably won't make you feel better if your someone just up and leaves you, but at least your insanity does probably come from an indentifiable region of the brain.

Hey guys,

I love the concern, but seriously, it was just a post on an interesting article. Though I didn't link to it at the time, this article caught my eye because of a Bamber post (http://bamber.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_bamber_archive.html#111746650028442826) on the science of broken hearts.

I just like science. There's no coded message here. But again, thanks for the concern. Though, now that you mention it, Colin Firth has STILL not shown up on my doorstep, so I'm still a bit bummed on that.

But who's happy I might be on the market? Now THAT's intriguing . . . (clearly posted by someone who doesn't know me, though, otherwise he/she'd be running screaming in the other direction).
