It's nice to hear your voice. Good luck in Pennsylvania. I spent only a couple of day in Phili and decided it was kinda weird, so I'm sure you will fit in just fine. You will be pleased to know that I sent in my absentee ballot today, and I registered a co-worker absentee from Florida who is voting for Kerry for sure.

On another note, I heard today on the Rush Limboring show that something like 61% of military and military families support George Bush. Remember that piece I wrote earlier about how the soldiers are told throughout their military careers to support their leader no matter what? Well, I can only imagine that the 61% percent stat is a little (if not a lot ) skewed. And if anyone tries to tell you that "it isn't that bad over there", they are lying through their teeth. It sucks over there big time.

That is all. Good luck in Penn. Don't eat too many cheesesteaks.

On behalf of all CMCers at the Graduate School at Princeton University (which is basically me and some computer science major I don't know), welcome to the Delaware Valley and the Tri-State region. Hope to see you soon. K-E '04!

CD-Wow, you're making your way across the nation spreading little pieces of blue confetti everywhere...I thought that P. Diddy and the Real World gang shored up Democratic support in Philly...at least that's what they showed in the VOTE OR DIE commercial..at any rate, have fun for the next two weeks...maybe you'll even have time to get some brotherly love (sorry, but the cheesesteak reference was already taken)...

Josh: mmmm, cheesesteak.

oddly enough, my first meal here was sushi (philadelphia roll, naturally) - but it was worse than the WV sushi. can't figure out if that makes sense or not.

amanda - 10 points for getting more philly-cana into the comments section.

richard - i expect to see you out and about somewhere!

When Kerry wins you have to treat yourself to a dining experience I will be tremendously jealous of. Check it out http://www.morimotorestaurant.com/ It might be way overrated, and you probably have to make reservations about a year ahead of time, but if you go you can always say that you've been and that is half the fun of going places.
