Too bad there are no golf courses in California . . .

Wait a minute - yeah there are too golf courses in California. Apparently, no one told Cruz who held a debt-retirement tourney in Mexico. Not just another state - a whole 'nother country. I hate to side with the conservative guy quoted in the article, but I do find it problematic when any elected has a big money event that has no benefit to the California tax base - remember, we're broke here, people . . . .

Also mentioned here is Attorney General Bill Lockyer deciding not to take over the Espinoza murder case here in SF. More detail on the decision - and some typically nearly-button-pushing comments from Mr. Lockyer - can be found here. In short, Lockyer decided that it was just possible Kamala Harris was following the law and not blindly following personal conviction.
