Here's another story of an American mom risking life, limb, and national security to visit her active duty son in Iraq. This woman is more interesting than others given her story.
Apparently, her trip, run through an organization called "Code Pink," only cost $2,200. Seems kinda cheap, no? Doesn't include kevlar, though, I'm assuming. I wouldn't go without it. I'm generally a very timid person when it comes to, say, throwing myself into a war zone. But something about this conflict at this time - well, actually, it's obvious isn't it.
Maybe if I saw it, I could understand. Everything.
